Drying Out In The Week Ahead

By Dave Aguilera

DENVER (CBS4) - After the last weekend of summer goes down feeling more like fall , we have a warm up to look forward to on Monday.

Sunday's thunderstorms got busy during the Bronco game as thunderstorms packed with lightning blew through causing about a one hour lightning delay for the game.

The week ahead will be warming up across the region. We do have a cold front pushing through Tuesday night into Wednesday. This will amp up the winds for the middle of the week. This will elevate the fire danger around the Front Range.

Friday is the first day of fall! The Autumnal Equinox is at 2:02 pm.
