Weather Now Turns Wet and Colder, Possibly Resulting in Snow by the Weekend

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Wednesday was the break we promised: more sunshine and the warmest temperatures of the week as we reached 61 degrees. Now we see a return to the moisture flow as temperatures begin to chill. Thursday will turn mostly cloudy with only scattered showers - maybe an isolated thunderstorm - and a high in the mid 50s. Cooler Friday with scattered rain showers - maybe mixed with snow - with the high reaching into the upper 40s.

Saturday will see snow - maybe several inches - with a chilly high only in the upper 30s! Sunday will see a return to partly sunny skies and a high warming into the low 50s. Monday continues with that trend with partly cloudy skies and a high getting near 60 degrees.
