Fair and Mild Weather Should Continue Through the Easter Weekend

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - The storm tracks across the western half of the country will stay south and north of Colorado through the weekend. And therefore generally quiet weather is expected statewide and that pattern should continue right through most of next week.

Denver recorded a high of 74 degrees at the airport and 73 degrees downtown with mostly sunny skies on Wednesday. Look for more of the same on Thursday - maybe even a few degrees warmer - into the mid to upper 70s. Friday will see more of the same.

As we push into Easter Weekend, expect slightly cooler weather Saturday - high in the upper 60s - with partly cloudy skies. Easter Sunday should warm into the lower 70s under partly cloudy skies. Then partly cloudy and back into the mid 70s on Monday. Look for lower 70s on Tuesday and Wednesday - with a slight chance for a late day spring-time thunderstorm both days.
