More Rain Possible Before Drier & Warmer Weekend

By Lauren Whitney

DENVER (CBS4) -

A very foggy morning in eastern Colorado, more fog possible on Friday morning in Denver and the plains. Watch for patchy, thick fog to hang around until about 9:00 am. After the fog cleared, we did see plenty of sunshine with a few storms rolling through south of the Denver area.

More rain is possible in Denver through the day on Friday. Some of that could be heavy at times on the eastern plains. Temperatures will be in the mid 60s.

After that rain clears, we are heading for a warm and sunny weekend. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s, with lots if sunshine.

That will abruptly change on Sunday night when a very cold, powerful storm makes its way from Alaska to Colorado.

This could mean temperatures don't make it out of the 30s on Monday with the chance for rain/snow in Denver. The mountains are looking at more accumulating snow. Enjoy the warmer temperatures while they last!
