Warming Up Heading For The Weekend

By Lauren Whitney

DENVER (CBS4) - A cloudy, chilly start to the day eventually gave way to sunshine and warmer temperatures. We did drop a bit from Wednesday thanks to a cold front that passed through last night.

Friday brings more sunshine, but a lot of wind to the high country. We could also see some fog on Friday morning on the eastern plains.

Temperatures on Friday head to the low 60s and upper 50s.

We stay that way through the weekend, highs will stay in the upper 50s with plenty of sunshine.

The weather will cooperate for college football in Boulder, Fort Collins, and at the Air Force Academy on Saturday. It will also stay mostly clear and dry for the Broncos game Sunday evening.
