Scattered Showers and Cool Through Saturday...A Nice Warm-Up for Sunday

DENVER (CBS4)- A cold, gray and showery way to end the week, with Friday's high only reaching 48 degrees both officially at the airport and downtown. Scattered showers could be back again tomorrow with a mostly cloudy Saturday but slightly warmer - high in the mid 50s. Sunday will be the perfect way to end the weekend: sunshine returns and temperature warms into the mid 70s! Monday looks like more of the same with a high in the low 70s.

Then the next system with begin to affect Colorado - cooler Tuesday with scattered thunderstorms - high in the mid 60s. Little change on Wednesday with a high in the lower 60s. Thursday and Friday will continue to see scattered showers or a thunderstorms...as the highs fall into the mid 50s.
