Fair, Warmer and Dry Into the Beginning of the Weekend

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Thursday saw plenty of sunshine as our warm-up continued with highs reaching 66 officially at the airport and 67 downtown, above our normal high for this time of year of 59 degrees.

For Friday, the Rockies Home Opener, just about perfect - partly sunny skies with a high reaching into the low 70s...and more of the same for Saturday - fair and back in the low 70s as we head into the weekend. We'll turn cooler with a chance for a scattered shower on Sunday - a high in the mid 50.

Looking ahead to next week, little change for Monday: partly cloudy with a high back in the mid 50. Then we'll stay fair and dry with a warm-up: low 60s Tuesday, upper 60s Wednesday, and back into the low 70s for Thursday.
