Mild Week A Few Sprinkles Tuesday

By Dave Aguilera

DENVER (CBS4) - We still have a high pressure ridge over the southern half of the nation providing the dry, mild conditions we have seen through the weekend.  Monday night into Tuesday however, there is a batch of tropical moisture that will get caught in the southwesterly flow. This should deliver showers, thunderstorms and even some high mountain snow into the western half of the state overnight Monday into Tuesday.

For communities east of the Divide moisture will be very limited. So Denver should see an increase of clouds Tuesday along with a few isolated areas of shower or a light drizzle. Not much measurable moisture expected over eastern parts of the state. The drought continues!
