Colder Temperatures On The Way For Wednesday
DENVER (CBS4) - A cold front and storm system will briefly end our warm weather in Colorado.
Tonight, temperatures drop to the upper 30s and bring the chance for a little rain and drizzle to the Denver area through early tomorrow morning. Rain and snow may stick around for some high mountain areas through early tomorrow morning, but most of the moisture will clear overnight tonight.
Parts of the foothills and plains could get foggy tomorrow morning as well. In the wake of our cold front, we'll be significantly cooler. Most areas tomorrow will be 15 to 20 plus degrees cooler than Tuesday! Highs drop to the upper 50s for Tuesday. Skies will slowly clear through the day, with less clouds as we head into the afternoon.
Wednesday's cool down won't last long. Thursday, we are much warmer with highs back in the 70s. And we'll make it back to the 80s on Friday.
