High Fire Danger Ahead Of Big Cooling Trend

By Chris Spears

DENVER (CBS4) - A series of cold fronts will move across Colorado over the next few days dropping our temperatures by up to 30 degrees compared to what we saw over the weekend.

Because of the winds being kicked up by these fronts we will still see high fire danger on Monday across eastern Colorado.

Most of the rain and snow associated with this storm will go to our north so don't expect any significant precipitation to help with the drought.

The best chance to see some rain or snow is in the northern mountains on Tuesday.
