Snow Slowly Clears, Cold Colorado Night

By Lauren Whitney

DENVER (CBS4) - Snow and rain continue across Colorado well into Monday night. Skies will take some time to clear overnight into Tuesday, Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings are in place through midnight. As skies clear overnight, temperatures will plummet.

A Freeze Warning is in place for northwestern Colorado in Moffat and Rio Blanco counties, as well as areas along I-70 on the Western Slope. Temperatures will drop to the low 20s to right around 30 degrees. Here in Denver and the Front Range, our overnight lows will be chilly but not that cold. We'll be in the mid to upper 30s.

Tuesday will bring clearing skies to Colorado. We'll have partly to mostly sunny skies with cool temperatures. Highs will be in the mid 50s.

We'll be warmer, with highs in the low 60s on Wednesday. We could see late rain on Wednesday and Thursday. Drier conditions this weekend, as of now, with highs back in the 70s!
