Now Temperatures will Surge Above Normal

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Thursday turned out to be mostly dry and seasonal in Denver, just a few isolated storms elsewhere around the state. Denver reached 87 degrees which is exactly normal for this time of year. For Friday...it should be more of the same: fair dry and seasonal with the high right back to around 87 degrees.

For the weekend we'll put scattered storms back in the forecast and turn up the heat - look for right around 90 both Saturday and Sunday. As we start next week, we're back in the mid to upper 80s with the chance for scattered storms each day through at least Thursday.
