Warming Up Even More For Valentine's Day

By Lauren Whitney

DENVER (CBS4) - After only hitting 25 degrees on Monday, we raced right back to the upper 50s on Tuesday! We still had a bit of snow in the high country, but it stayed very dry and sunny for eastern Colorado. It actually felt like it was raining at times downtown with so much snow melting off buildings!

The warming trend continues on Wednesday for Valentine's Day and Ash Wednesday, our highs will reach the low to mid 60s! Expect even more melting around town.

We won't stay this warm for long as a new system is expected to roll in on Thursday. The mountains have a decent chance for snow, however we don't expect to see any real accumulation for the Denver area.

Warming up again as we head to the weekend, with highs back in the upper 50s on Saturday!
