Fast Front To Kick Up Strong Evening Storms

By Chris Spears

DENVER (CBS4) - Much like we saw yesterday another fast moving cold front will blast into the Front Range around the rush hour and it is threatening to kick up a round of strong storms.

Locally heavy rain is possible along with dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning and some hail.

They shouldn't last too long but they could pack a punch in a few areas.

If you're planning to attend tonight's Rockies game you might want to have some rain gear on hand just in case.

We begin to slowly clear out overnight and start off very chilly on Saturday.

Frost is expected in south-central Wyoming around Laramie and there could even be some snow tonight on the highest peaks of the Front Range.
