Fall Has Arrived; Cooler Weather Right Behind

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Fall arrived at 8:21 this morning and the stationary front that has been just to the north of us all week, took a little dip into northeastern Colorado and kept our temperature at 76 degrees on Thursday. That front should head back north tomorrow, so look for a high warming into the lower 80s for Friday.

For the weekend, a big low pressure trough will bring a better chance for scattered showers and much cooler temperatures: upper 60s for Saturday and only near 60 for Sunday. Then as we head into next week, sunny and dry for Monday, high in the mid 60s; more sunshine Tuesday high in the low 70s...and by the end of next week we just might get back into the 80s!
