Bitter Temperatures Along With Snow

DENVER (CBS4) - Sunday we hit 69 degrees in Denver, on Monday we barely managed to get to 20 degrees! What a difference a day makes.

Not only did we take a massive temperature dive, snow also rolled into Colorado. Most of the day we just had light flurries in Denver, with the heaviest snow coming down in the mountains. We have plenty of Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings for our mountains. These will be in place through Tuesday morning. Some areas, especially in Southwestern Colorado, could still see another foot or more of snow.

Denver will see heavier snow on and off through about midnight. We could see 1 to 3 inches of snow, with more as you head to the foothills and even into eastern Colorado.

Our overnight lows are going to be in the single digits for most of northern Colorado. With the wind chill, many of us will feel well below zero all night.

We're cold and cloudy on Tuesday, with another night of single digit lows. After that, we start to warm back up but we won't be returning to the 60s or even the 50s this week.
