Mild Days Will Lead Into A Quick Cool-down

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - The last day of July saw an official high of 86 degrees, 87 degrees downtown, with much drier air allowing for only isolated storms. For Tuesday we can expect more of the same: only isolated storms - with a high temperature back in the mid 80s. Wednesday's high will be in the mid 80s but with an increase in clouds and storms as a cold front approaches. The result of the passage of that front will keep us only in the mid 70s on Thursday with a better chance for storms.

Partly cloudy skies on Friday with a high in the upper 70s. We'll begin the weekend on Saturday with isolated storms and a high in the low 80s; then Sunday we'll see scattered storms with highs pushing into the mid 80s.
