Milder Temperatures...But No Moisture In Sight

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Winds were more relaxed on Tuesday, but it was still breezy at times, and those downslope breezes warmed out high temperature to 67 degrees officially at the airport and 65 degrees downtown. Because of the warm winds we continued a Red Flag Warning for portions of the eastern plains, for high fire danger until 6pm.

For Thursday, temperatures will be mild again as we push into the upper 60s under partly cloudy skies...and Friday, more of the same with a high right around 70 - 18 degrees above normal!

The weekend begins with a cooler Saturday - a high in the lower 60s - but we will stay dry. More of the same only milder for Sunday with a high back in the upper 60s. We'll then start next week with a cooler high around 60 for Monday and then right back in the upper 60s to around 70 for Tuesday and Wednesday. Aside form a few snow showers off and on for the mountains our state will stay very dry.
