Very Mild and Dry Right Through the Weekend Ahead

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Monday saw mostly cloudy skies over Denver and most of Colorado with temperatures just a few degrees above normal for this time of year. In Denver we reached an official high of 57 - just 3 degrees above normal.

Back east - along the I-95 corridor - with the major population areas of Washington, D.C., New York and Boston receiving a potential of 1 to 2 feet of snow! Here in Colorado, we are on the other side of that weather coin - we will see dry conditions under sunny to partly sunny skies with temperatures getting into the lower 70s on Tuesday, then mid 70s for Wednesday and Thursday.

It's the "Luck of the Irish" for Friday, St. Patrick's Day - look for partly sunny skies and a high right around 70. Even warmer for the weekend with sunny skies on Saturday and an high into the upper 70s; partly cloudy and approaching 80 for Sunday.
