Warm and Dry Until Isolated Storms arrives Friday

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Even through we are in the early fall, the weather feels like late summer: into the 80s as we topped out at 83 degrees both officially at the airport and downtown and hardly a clouds in the sky all day long. Look for more of the same on Wednesday: mostly sunny skies with highs back in the lower 80s. We'll add a few more clouds on Thursday, but maintain a high temperature in the lower 80s.

Friday will bring more clouds and maybe a few isolated showers or storms and a high just slightly cooler in the mid 70s. The weekend will see partly cloudy skies, chance for scattered storms with highs staying in the mid 70s for both Saturday and Sunday.
