Cooler Temperatures For Thanksgiving

By Lauren Whitney

DENVER (CBS4) - Happy Thanksgiving! We are looking at a lovely day across Colorado. Early morning mountain snow clears and leaves a few clouds behind. The rest of the state will be full of sunshine mixed with a few clouds. Winds will kick up through the morning, and could get pretty gusty in parts of the foothills and those wind prone areas. Temperatures will be down a touch thanks to a cold front, but not by much. We'll be in the upper 40s and low 50s across the Front Range and plains. The mountains and west will be a bit cool, with most areas only in the 30s today.

Overnight, skies are clear and it will be a bit chilly for Black Friday shopping with lows in the 20s.

Friday we warm up back to the upper 50s with plenty of sunshine. We'll be warm and in the low 60s on Saturday.

Slightly cooler for Sunday with highs down into the lower 50s.

Have a great Thanksgiving!
