A Little Less Heat Through the End of the Week

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Tuesday saw our 11th 90 degree day in a row as we climbed to 93 officially at the airport and 91 degrees downtown. Only scattered to isolated storms across the state as many areas did see a lot of clouds but not much in the way of showers or storms.

For Wednesday, we can expect more of the same: showers and storms scattered across the state - more likely over the northeast - with highs about where they were today. Look for a high in the lower 90s for Denver. Then a little break from the 90s on Thursday and Friday with isolated storms and highs only in the upper 80s. However the weekend will get back into the lower 90s as we see only isolated late day storms for both Saturday and Sunday.
