Good Chance For Precipitation On Wednesday Night

By Lauren Whitney

DENVER (CBS4) - Temperatures were a little warmer in Colorado today, but we were still running well below average for this time of year. Denver hit 63 degrees on Tuesday. Overall, Tuesday was a much drier day but some areas in southern Colorado and the high country saw a little rain and snow.

Our next storm system heads our way on Wednesday. In the afternoon, there is a slight chance for rain in Denver but chances really ramp up in the night time hours into Thursday morning. We may even have a rainy commute on Thursday morning. Skies should clear by Thursday afternoon. With this system, the high country cold pick up 2 to 6 inches of snow, possibly more than that above the tree line.

Friday there is still rain possible, but a much lesser chance than previous days. Saturday should bring sunshine and the mid 70s!

A few isolated showers possible on Sunday, but we should be much warmer and drier through the weekend.
