Fair, Dry and Temperatures We Normally Expect in mid June this Weekend!

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - We ended the work week with plenty of sunshine and only slightly cooler temperatures - our high reaching 71 officially at the airport and 72 degrees downtown.

Now here come the weekend and here comes warmer weather: mostly sunny with a high in the low 80s on Saturday (the record high is 82 from 1907 for March 18); partly cloudy, breezy and back in the lower 80s for your Sunday (the record high is 81, also from 1907). So highs could be at, or close to, record territory this weekend!

Spring arrives at 4:29am Monday and with it somewhat cooler weather - a high in the lower 70s - still 17 degrees above normal for this time of year! As we look ahead: partly cloudy and in the upper 60s on Tuesday; partly cloudy and back in the low 70s for Wednesday. Then maybe a chance for scattered rain or snow showers on Thursday - high in the low 60s with an overnight low in the lower 30s.
