Will Again Threaten a Record High On Wednesday, Before a Major Change

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Tuesday saw plenty of sunshine and westerly breezes push our high temperature to one degree shy of the 1942 record high of 78. The airport officially reached 77 degrees...however we did reach 78 in downtown Denver. Wednesday will see most of the same conditions in place so we will again threaten the record high for November 16th which is 77 degrees. But then that is the last of the balmy weather.

We see clouds producing rain and snow showers on Thursday with the high temperature diving into the low 40s! Sunshine returns rapidly on Friday, but the cold air stays with us, so expect a high near 40 degrees to end the week.

Sunshine continues into the weekend with a seasonal high on Saturday in the lower 50s. Milder weather arrives for Sunday with a high into the mid 60s.
