In Between Storms Until Monday Night

By Chris Spears

DENVER (CBS4) - Southern Colorado saw beneficial moisture from our weekend storm that took a more southern route.

A few places between Monument and the New Mexico state line saw 5-12 inches of snow, with the higher totals in the mountains west of Pueblo.

While Denver and the foothills only saw lighter amounts, the fact it was a slow and steady precipitation, was good for vegetation.

A new storm will move into the region during the day on Monday and it promises an unsettled first half to the new week.

Drier and warmer weather is expected by next weekend.
