More of the Same: Smoky, Warm, Chance for a Storm

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Upper level winds will continue to transport more smoke across Colorado through the weekend and not much in the way of showers or storms to clear out our skies.

Denver's high on Friday reached 85 degrees officially and that's 3 degrees above normal for this time of year. We'll begin the weekend even warmer, as we warm to around 90 degrees - and always the chance for a scattered late day storm. Little change for Sunday as we get close to 90 degrees once again.

We'll start next week with pretty much more of the same: Scattered storms Monday with a high in the mid to upper 80s and little change in that forecast right on into the middle of the week.
