Sunshine Returned on Wednesday, Next - a Pleasant Warm-Up

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Tuesday's storm moved out of the state overnight and Wednesday dawned with sunny skies. The warm-up began as well with highs well above the 42 degree high we had on Tuesday, as the high reached 55 officially and 56 downtown on Wednesday.

Now the warm-up will continue: sunshine with low 60s on Thursday; into the lower 70s under partly sunny skies for Friday - perfect for the Rockies Home Opener. The weekend will begin with more of the same: partly sunny and highs back into the low 70s for Saturday. Sunday will cool down with a chance for rain showers - expect a high in the upper 50s. Monday we are back to partly sunny conditions with a cool high in the mid 50s. But as next week moves along, another warm-up takes place with highs getting into the mid 70s by the end of next week.
