Chance for a Storms Each Afternoon Into the Weekend

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - The Memorial Day Weekend worked out just as we planned: A cool and rainy Saturday and not out of the 50s; a beautiful sunny Sunday in the low 70s; then just scattered showers Monday with a high nearing 70: 60 degrees at both the airport and downtown locations.

As we start the shortened work week, look for partly cloudy skies and mild Tuesday with scattered storms, high in the mid 70s. More of the same only a little milder for Wednesday, high in the upper 70s; then partly sunny with only isolated storms and warmer Thursday as the high will reach into the low 80s...and scattered storms with low 80s again on Friday. The weekend ahead looks fairly seasonal: chance for a few isolated storms with high in the mid to upper 70s for both Saturday and Sunday.
