More Storms Possible On Tuesday

By Lauren Whitney

DENVER (CBS4) -

A stormy afternoon for much of eastern Colorado. A storm rolled through the Denver area starting just after 11:00 am, and really gained strength as it made its way to the plains. Here in the Denver area, we saw a lot of small hail in many areas. It looked like a snow storm in many areas of south Denver.

We also saw a lot of quick, heavy rain and lightning.

Storms on the eastern plains really ramped up, bringing large hail and really heavy rain to areas near Deer Trail, Limon, and Flagler.

We can't rule out an isolated storm or two into Monday night, however most activity should be north and in the plains.

More storms are possible on Tuesday afternoon and evening, but at this point don't look to be severe. More severe storms are possible on Wednesday on the eastern plains.

Wednesday will be warmer and drier for the Front Range and most of Colorado. Highs will return to the 80s! We'll be cooler heading to the weekend with the chance for more storms.
