Another Hot One, But Cooler Days Ahead

By Lauren Whitney
DENVER (CBS4) - Another day with temperatures knocking on the door of breaking records. We hit 92 in Denver, just shy of the daily record high of 94 from 1911. Wednesday will be another hot one, with highs in the low 90s.

A few isolated storms are possible into the night here in Denver, it's not a great chance but the possibility is out there.

A better chance for storms heads our way on Wednesday and Thursday, as an upper level low system off the coast of central California moves towards Colorado. Widespread storms are possible from the Western Slope through the high country, while here in Denver we have a smaller chance for those storms. Thursday could be a better chance here across the Front Range.

Sunny and dry for Friday, with highs in the mid 80s as a cold front passes through. Then for the weekend, we are in the 70s! We will be feeling like fall for sure!
