A Warming Trend Returns To Finish Weekend

By Dave Aguilera

DENVER (CBS4) - What a refreshing Fall like day Saturday turned out to be! Denver's high made it to 75 degrees.

We are watching a ridge of high pressure over California beginning to move eastward into Nevada. This will continue to bring a northwest flow over the state keeping most of the usual isolated storms over southern Colorado for Sunday. While western and northern parts of the state should stay dry for Sunday.

The warmer temperatures should stay with us through Tuesday along with a slight chance for afternoon thunderstorms each day.

A cold front will swing through by mid week bringing in a better chance for rain and another blast of cooler temperatures.
