The 90 Degree Streak Goes to 12 Days

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Our 12th day in a row with 90 degree temperatures! The official high out at DIA was 93 degrees and the same was recorded downtown. Storms made a late afternoon start with a few Severe Thunderstorm Warnings being issued up and down the eastern plains. Looks like we get day number 13 of 90 degree weather for Thursday as we look for a high right around the 90 degree mark. Then a break in the streak as a cold front will make Friday cooler and rather pleasant with a high in the mid 80s - and always a chance for late day storms.

We begin another streak of 90 degree weather as we start the weekend: look for low to mid 90s for Saturday, Sunday, even Monday - and we'll keep that chance for late storms for each one of those days.
