Roller Coaster Ride Of Temperatures This Week
DENVER (CBS4) -
After a cold front whipped through eastern Colorado this morning, dropping our temperatures drastically. We were in the low 60s around 6:00 am, then quickly down to the 40s as that front passed through. We also saw very gusty winds, and clouds.
The winds stuck around for most of the day, but sunshine prevailed later in the afternoon.
Monday night will be a chilly one, so you may need a few extra layers or a thicker jacket on Tuesday morning. We're still fairly mild recovering from that front on Tuesday, temperatures will be close to 60.
A big warm up for Wednesday with highs in the mid 70s! That doesn't last long as a stronger cold front comes through on Thursday. This will is a quick one as well, but it could bring a little rain and snow to Colorado. Denver could see some cold rain, maybe a mix with snow as the front moves through. Winds will once again be gusty and temperatures will drop to the 40s.
