Warming Up Before Next Storm

By Lauren Whitney

DENVER (CBS4) -

Back to sunshine for Denver on Tuesday, snow continued in many mountain areas through most of the afternoon. We really saw it pile up, with Arapahoe Basin coming out the winner with 18 inches of fresh powder! We hit 47 degrees in Denver.

We'll remain warm and dry again on Wednesday, with highs in the mid 50s. We could hit the 60s on Thursday! The heat won't last for long, another system heads our way.

Snow is possible late Friday night and into Saturday for the Denver area and the high country. We'll also be in for much cooler temperatures with highs dropping below freezing on Saturday.
