Sunshine and a Warm-up Is Headed Our Way

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Thursday morning continued with those low clouds, freezing drizzle and light snow that began on Wednesday evening. The skies stayed gray with the temperature not moving much: the low was 20, the high was 26 and they occurred exactly twelve hours apart...to the minute! Could see a few flurries or a little freezing drizzle overnight and begin Friday morning with cloudy skies...but the skies should clear quickly with highs getting to near seasonal norms - in the low to mid 40s.

The weekend looks great: Saturday will see plenty of sunshine with a much warmer high: near that 60 degree mark! Then partly sunny Sunday with a high again near 60. We'll start next week with more of the same - a high near 60 under partly sunny skies. More clouds and a little cooler Tuesday with a high in the low 50s.
