Storms More Numerous Thursday, Temps Back in the 80s

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Our high reached 91 degrees at the airport and 90 degrees downtown on Wednesday for a warmer than normal late August Day. More clouds with a better moisture flow on Thursday and that will also bring a little greater chance for scattered storms - not as warm, with a high in the mid 80s. Partly cloudy and dry Friday with a high in the mid to upper 80s.

The weekend with bring a few isolated showers on Saturday with a high in the upper 80s; mostly sunny Sunday with a seasonal high in the mid 80s. Monday and Tuesday look to be more of the same: fair and mid 80s. In fact we should stay dry with highs continuing in the mid 80s right through next Friday which is the first day of September!
