Warmer Under Hazy Sunshine Due To More Wildfire Smoke
DENVER (CBS4) - Air quality continues to be an issue here in Colorado as more than 75 wildfires are burning from California to Montana. The smoke from those fires continues to stream right into our state, and we'll once again have an Ozone Action Day across eastern Colorado on Thursday. If you are sensitive or have respiratory issues, please limit your time outdoors.
On Thursday, visibility will once again be very poor. We may have a tough time seeing our beautiful mountains from downtown.
Temperatures on Wednesday went back to the low 80s, our cool down from Tuesday didn't last long.
Thursday, we'll once again go back to the upper 80s. We'll feel more like summer than fall across Colorado once again.
The mountains could see a few storms on Thursday, especially in the southwest corner where heavier rain is possible.
Isolated storms are possible for the Front Range on Friday and Saturday, but overall we stay in a pretty dry weather pattern for the next few days.
