Larimer County Warns Of Tax Lien Scam Notices In The Mail

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Larimer County is warning about a tax lien scam. The county said some property owners have received a notice in the mail.
The notice claims the tax processing unit has issued a warrant because of a tax debt. There is no tax processing unit in Larimer County. The notice is fake. Anyone who has received the notice is asked to contact the Larimer County Office of the Treasurer.
