Large fire burns oil platform in Adams County

A large cloud of smoke was seen coming from the area of East 160th Avenue and Quebec Street in Thornton as an oil platform burned Tuesday.

Several fire rescue agencies are responding, including North Metro Fire Rescue and Adams County Fire

Fire officials say there's no threat to the public.
