Lakewood Police Search For Couple In Burglary Investigation

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Lakewood are searching for a couple wanted in connection with a burglary investigation.

The homeowners returned from a trip to find that their home had been burglarized. Numerous items were stolen including credit cards which were used at Walmart on West Quincy as well as King Soopers stores in Lakewood.

The man and woman suspects are also suspected in other burglaries throughout the Denver metro area.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is also looking for the male suspect in reference to a burglary they are investigating.

The suspect is described as a white male, 30-35 years old. He used stolen credit cards from the burglarized home at various businesses throughout the Denver metro area to purchase various items.

The suspect is possibly driving the stolen vehicle from the home, a silver 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Colorado license plate 544-WWP.
