Lakewood Native Hopes To Rebound At Bandimere
MORRISON, Colo. (CBS4) - A native Lakewood racer is looking to get back on track at the NHRA Mile-High Nationals at Bandimere Speedway this weekend.
V. Gains has struggled in his past couple races, but he says he's hoping a home-track advantage will help.
"This track has always been friendly to us," Gains told CBS4. "I don't know what the reasons are because we race here as much as anybody else does. It's one stop on the tour. But we've had good luck here. We're really looking forward to running here. We tested here last week, ran really well. We're just as excited as we can be to get back on track."
