Lafayette Tornado Sirens Go Off By Mistake Again

LAFAYETTE, Colo. (CBS4) - Another malfunction of the tornado warning system in Lafayette has been reported.

Officials with the Boulder County Sheriff's office say the sirens went off accidentally on Tuesday. It's the third false alarm since May.

The first malfuction happened at 3 a.m. At that time Boulder County Sheriff's Office Division Chief Robert Sullenberg described the problem as a "software glitch."
