Deadly Crash Closes Highway 287 For Several Hours

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - A woman was killed and a man was injured in a serious crash that shut down US Highway 287 in Boulder County on Monday.

All lanes of Highway 287 were closed at Isabelle Road near Lafayette for several hours.

A 2015 Nissan passenger car and 2010 GM box truck collided just after 8:30 a.m.

A 22-year-old woman from Georgia was driving the Nissan and was killed.

The 45-year-old driver of the truck was taken to Good Samaritan hospital in Lafayette.

Investigators have not yet advised of any possible cause or circumstances.

The road reopened just before 2 p.m.
