Kubiak: Trevor Siemian Has Sprained Shoulder

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian sprained his shoulder Sunday and his coach describes his status as day-to-day.

The injury is to Siemian's left shoulder, and he's right-handed passer.

"They're actually still evaluating that," Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak said. "Greek (Broncos trainer Steve Antonopulos) told me he's just day-to-day. We'll see how he feels. Obviously it's his non-throwing shoulder, so it's about getting himself where he feels like he can go through the motion again and stuff, so we'll see."

Kubiak said Monday afternoon that Siemian's shoulder is sore.

Before he was hurt late in the first half of Sunday's 27-7 victory over the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay, Siemian connected on five of seven passes for 68 yards and a touchdown.

Backup quarterback Paxton Lynch came into the game after that, with the Broncos leading 14-7, and threw for 170 yards and a touchdown.
