Kayakers Find Body In Crystal River Near Redstone
REDSTONE, Colo. (AP) - Authorities are working to identify a body found in the Crystal River near Redstone.
The Pitkin County coroner says two volunteer kayakers from Gunnison County found the body Saturday and helped recover it from the river.
A Carbondale man has been missing since going kayaking in the river on May 31. Like many across Colorado, the river was running high and swift at the time because of the spring snowmelt.
