ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Arvada arrested a juvenile in connection with a threat at Arvada K-8 school on Friday.

The threat forced officials to place the school on lockdown on Friday afternoon. Students were kept inside the school until the regularly scheduled school day was finished.

Students were cleared classroom by classroom once police determined it was safe to leave the building.

Students who normally ride the bus were placed on buses but students who typically walk home had to have their parents or caregiver pick them up.

No one was injured. Police continued to investigate the threat on Saturday and did not release the nature of the threat.
