The score was tied at 23 when the Saints lined up for the PAT. Simmons leaped over long snapper Justin Drescher and then blocked the kick. It resulted in an 84-yard, two-point defensive return by teammate Will Parks and led the Broncos to a 25-23 victory.

Simmons is a rookie out of Boston College. He was picked in the third round.
