Jury Finds Man Guilty Of Vehicular Homicide, DUI In Fatal Arvada Crash

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - A Jefferson County jury has found one of the driver's involved in a fatal accident in Arvada last May guilty on several counts, including vehicular homicide, DUI and reckless driving.

Investigators say Codey Daniel Trahan, 30, was drunk when he drove through a red light at Sheridan Boulevard and West 80th Avenue and slammed into an SUV. The other driver, Joe Gonzalez, was killed.

During the trial jurors heard testimony that Trahan was driving 114 miles per hour before the crash.

Sentencing is set for June.
