Juneteenth Music Festival Draws Hundreds To Five Points

DENVER (CBS4) - Hundreds attended the Juneteenth music festival in Denver on Saturday.

The festival featured music, vendors, a car show and a parade in the Five Points neighborhood.

Juneteenth is a historic celebration commemorating the liberation of black slaves in Texas in 1865. In recent years the event has promoted knowledge and appreciation of the African American history and culture.
